The 10-year-old boy who walked in on the alleged rape of his sister by Nicki Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj, testified in Nassau County Supreme Court on Monday.
According to Page Six, the boy detailed what he saw when it came to the alleged rape that took place in a basement bedroom back in 2015. The boy claims he was looking for his sister, who was 11-years-old at the time, when he walked in on the alleged incident.
The boy claims his sister’s pants were “around her ankles,” and testified he saw Maraj’s underwear close to his knees. He said, “I thought it wasn’t right. It looked weird to me, so I ran upstairs.”
Maraj allegedly slapped the boy and threatened he wouldn’t see his mother, Jacqueline Robinson, again if he told. At the time Maraj and Robinson were married.
Defense lawyer, David Schwartz, asked the boy, “You would agree that when the light is not on, the room is very dark?” To which the boy answered, “yes.” The defense claims that these allegations are a part of a $25 million extortion plot against Nicki Minaj.
Last week a doctor testified the girl’s medical records strongly suggest she was having sex. Prosecutors also said that Maraj’s DNA was found on a pair of the girl’s pajama pants.
Back in December 2015, Nicki Minaj posted her brothers $100,000 bond when he was arrested.
