Y’all remember when Cash Money Records took over for the ’99 and the 2000s?! That was truly a nostalgic time in music and guess what? They’re about to be taking over the 2010s.
According to XXL, one of the greatest trips of late ’90s rap music are reuniting on a collaborative album. Lil Wayne, Mannie Fresh, and Juvenile have all confirmed their involvement! That can only mean one thing: BANGERS!
So Juvenile and Mannie sat down with AllHipHop about the new project. While they didn’t share too many concrete details like release date, album name, or things of that nature, they did confirm that finally after years of their fans “demanding” a Cash Money encore, the album is in the works; they have even secured a few features for the track list.
This won’t be the trio’s first time together since their split; they’ve collaborated on each of the others’ projects as well as Hot Boyz records –But this is their first complete collaborative project which makes the anticipation so much higher!
This should be a breath of fresh air for Lil Wayne, y’all know he’s still treading through his legal problems and relationship mend with Birdman, who he was last seen with at Drake’s New Year’s Eve party.
Are y’all ready for another Cash Money takeover?!
