As word has gotten out that Prince had an alleged Percocet addiction, police have not obtained a search warrant for the late singer’s home.
According to TMZ, Minnesota authorities were able to search Prince’s Paisley Park home after a warrant was issued on Thursday. Apparently they are looking for evidence that would prove his drug addiction may have caused his death… this includes drugs, prescriptions, and other medical information.
One thing is for sure the sheriff’s department are being real hush hush about the warrant request due to fear of evidence tampering, siting, “premature disclosure of the details provided in the search warrant and its accompanying documents may compromise this law enforcement investigation by causing the search or related searches to be unsuccessful.”
A judge has sealed private information on the Prince’s addiction for 6 months or until any actual criminal case is started. We will keep you updated on the story. Lets chat below!
