Pat Riley On Chris Bosh’s Miami Return: “His Heat Career Is Probably Over”

Looks like the Miami Heat has lost its final “Big Three” member as Heat president Pat Riley announces that a future with Chris Bosh may be unlikely due to recent health issues stemming from blood clot complications.

According to ESPN, Riley announced the news while being asked if the team was actively seeking to get Bosh back on the court, he replied, “We are not. I think Chris is still open-minded. But we are not working toward his return.” He goes on to say, “We feel that, based on the last exam, that his Heat career is probably over.”

Bosh had apparently failed his physical barring him from participating in their preseason training camp. It is unclear on how he failed exactly but the NBA player did seem to be in good spirits after receiving the news.

“Just because the journey has ups and downs doesn’t mean I will stop sharing with you guys,” Bosh stated on Friday. “So I will just continue to share despite what’s going on.”

After 6 years on the Miami Heat, Bosh was reportedly the highest paid Miami player, he was reportedly expecting to pull in $75.8 million over the next three seasons. Fortunately for the team they are eligible to receive salary cap relief in February 2017, if Bosh decides to retire or isn’t picked up by another team.

With Lebron killing it back in Cleveland and Wade heading back to Chicago, we wonder what the fate of the Miami Heat team will look like this season. What do you think? Lets chat below!
