Connecticut Sex Trafficking Ring Exploited Young Men Suffering From Mental Illness: “I’m Just A Gay Guy Trying To Help People,” Alleged Ring Leader Says

The disappearance of hundreds of young D.C. girls this past year, has now brought to light the growing issue of human trafficking in America. Well, now it has been reported that a Connecticut-based sex trafficking ring that exploits young disabled men has now been brought down.

According to the NY Post, as much as 15 men suffering from mental illnesses ranging from bipolarism to schizophrenia were lured into prostitution after being befriended by alleged ringleader Robert King.

King allegedly had the men, who all also lived in group homes, hooked on hard drugs like heroin and cocaine and then forced them to have sex with wealthy male clients in order to help them pay off their increasing drug habits. King had clients pay  $250 for sex and has been accused of sending young men to New England Motor Sports owner  Bruce J. Bemer for more then 20 years.

He was later arrested in January 2016 and charged with prostitution and witness tampering.

“I’m just a gay guy trying to help people,” King claimed to Danbury detectives in August 2016, according to one coutlet docs.

Bemer as well as another male client have also been charged with patronizing a trafficked person and are being held on $500,000 bonds.

Hopefully prison gets him the help that he needs. Let’s chat below…
