ISIS Has Reportedly Claimed Responsibility For The Attack Following The Ariana Grande Concert In Manchester

Yesterday news broke that an explosion had erupted as fans made their way out of an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester.

So far at least 22 people, including children, have been killed with many others injured due to the blast. Making this the deadliest terrorist attack to occur on British soil since the London bombings in 2005.

According to CNN, on Tuesday ISIS reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack, but offered no kind of evidence to support their claim.

A US counter-terrorism source told CNN, the group said on their Telegram Channel on Tuesday that a “soldier of the caliphate” was able to “plant explosive devices” at the arena.

Police have not announced who was responsible for the attack and ISIS continues to make claims of attacks with no proven links to them.

Police say they believe a man carrying the explosives acted alone in the attack and in the explosion. A 23-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday in connection to the attack.

Following the tragedy, Ariana Grande spoke out to the world via Twitter and said:
