Earlier this week, The Wopsters officially became apart of the BET family when they announced that their wedding would be filmed by the network. The special will be an 8-episode series which will document Keyshia and Gucci’s preparation for their big day on October 17th. #Bricksquaaaad!!
New details have emerged about how much #GucciMane and #KeyshiaKaoir will be getting paid. Sources close to the couple revealed to TMZ that the Groom will be getting $400,000 whereas the Bride will be getting $250,000 in addition to the $1 million wedding that BET is paying for! They certainly got a better deal, so tough loss for VH1!
We can exclusively report to you guys that the reason that VH1 lost the bid for the Wopsters’ Wedding is that execs wanted the couple to agree to join the cast of Love and Hip Hop Miami before they agreed to take care of the wedding special. According to our source, they were like “Nah” and luckily they did, because now they have their own show and a free-ish wedding at the end of the day!
The wedding will reportedly take place in Miami, and around 200 guests are expected to attend.
