Mike Tyson Opens Up About His Childhood Sexual Abuse

#Roommates, Mike Tyson opened up about his childhood in a recent interview and revealed a traumatic moment that changed his life forever.

Mike told ESPN reporter Jeremy Schapp how being sexually abused as a little boy taught him how to be tough for the world we live in. He told Schapp a man tried to lure him into a building but refused to go into full detail of what happened to him.

“Well I don’t like to talk about that, I like to keep that where it was in the past, but I was molested as a child,” Tyson said.

Despite Schapp interviewing Tyson multiple times for the last 25 years, Schapp has never discussed this story with him.

“It was no one’s business to know, people just don’t talk about it because to some people they believe it’s demasculating them,” Tyson said.

“I learned that it doesn’t make you any less of a man because it happened,” he added.
