Bank Reopens $1.9 Million Dollar Case Against Mary J. Blige

Bank Reopens $1.9 Million Dollar Case Against Mary J. Blige

#Roommates, when will Mary ever get a break!? This time around, she’s facing a $1.9 million dollar legal battle with Signature Bank. The bank claims the singer owes them $1.9 million dollars!

According to The Jasmine Brand, the singer first agreed to payment plan of $20k a month with the bank. However, the bank claims Mary still owes numerous monthly payments, leaving them with no other choice but to seek legal action.

Back in 2012, Signature Bank originally sued Blige for failing to pay back a massive $2.2 million dollar loan she and her estranged husband Kevin Isaacs had taken out. Blige and the bank later reached an agreement to pay back the loan in monthly payments. However, inconsistency payments give the bank the right to refile the lawsuit.

Wishing Mary the best during this time!
