Barbie’s boyfriend just got a fresh new look! Today, toymaker Mattel revealed plans to released 15 new diverse Ken dolls. According to the release, the dolls will come in three body types, seven skin tones and nine hairstyles, including cornrows and trendy man bun.
“By continuing to expand our product line, we are redefining what a Barbie or Ken doll looks like to this generation,” said Lisa McKnight, the company’s senior vice president and general manager. “Evolving Ken was a natural evolution for the brand and allows girls to further personalize the role they want him to play in Barbie’s world.”
The new ken dolls are the latest addition of the Barbie Fashionista line, which includes more than 100 diverse looks that the Barbie brand launched in the last three years.
