BET Green-Light’s New Limited Series ‘Death Row Chronicles’

BET Green-Light’s New Limited Series ‘Death Row Chronicles’

It looks like BET will be telling the story of the well-known 90s record label, Death Row Records.

The network is preparing for its next series entitled, “Death Row Chronicles.” The series will be composed of six one-hour episodes.

According to the network, the docuseries “will comb through mountains of misinformation, uncovering key evidence and witnesses who will reveal the truth about the bitter rivalries surrounding its legends.”

The record label founded by Suge Knight back in 1991 once had legendary artists such as the late Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and a few others.

Entertainment One and Creature Films are on board to produce the series, as it will also cover the classic hits that were released on the label and its influences on society.

According to Billboard, production for the series is expected to start this spring with a targeted airdate for Summer 2018.

Last month one of the label’s most prominent artists, Tupac Shakur, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Twenty-one years after his death, and his impact on the hip-hop game is still felt.

Roommates, will you be tuned in?
