Beyoncé’s Parkwood Company Takes Full Control Of Her Ivy Park Clothing Line And Ends Partnership With Philip Green

Back in 2016, Beyoncé released her clothing line Ivy Park in partnership with fashion retailer Topshop. Now Beyoncé’s Parkwood Company has ended their business partnership with Philip Green, the owner of the Arcadia Group, which is the parent company to Topshop.

According to Billboard, Parkwood has ended it’s 50/50 partnership with Green, who has recently been accused of “sexual harassment, bullying and racial abuse of staff at his companies.” Topshop owned half of the activewear clothing line.

Ivy Park said in a statement, “After discussions of almost a year, Parkwood has acquired 100 percent of the Ivy Park brand.” The statement also mentioned that Topshop would fulfill any existing orders for Ivy Park clothing.

When the line launched back in 2016, it was described as “creating a new kind of performance wear: modern essentials for both on and off the field.” Filled with leggings, hoodies, crop-tops and other pieces, the brand has featured some familiar faces such as Yara Shahidi, SZA, Lavern Cox and many others.
