The #MeToo movement has taken social media by storm, giving women a voice to talk about their experiences with sexual harassment and/or assault. Bill Cosby made a reference to the movement during a dinner in Philadelphia this week, and told a reporter he wants no parts of it.
While dining with a friend, his publicist and a few members of the media, Cosby shook a female reporter’s hand and made a request. “Please, don’t put me on MeToo,” he said according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.
The 80-year-old entertainer’s retrial for the alleged assault of Andrea Constand is scheduled for April. When asked about it, Cosby simply said, “We’re ready.”
