Last week, we reported that Carrie Fisher, best known for her role in the Star Wars franchise as Princess Leia, suffered a heart attack.
Carrie was reportedly on a flight from London to LAX, as she was on a publicity tour for her new book, “The Princess Diarist.”
At the time, Carrie’s family said the actress was in “stable condition” however, TMZ has learned that she apparently never regained her consciousness after her heart attack.
Carrie went into cardiac arrest 15 minutes before her plane landed on Friday. According to TMZ, she was unresponsive from the time she suffered her heart attack, up until the time she died.
Carrie died Tuesday morning, at the age of 60.
Our condolences go out to all of her loved ones. Rest in peace, Carrie.
