Da Brat has filed for bankruptcy. According to court docs obtained by The Blast, it was revealed that she’s in over $7.7 million of debt.
The documents state that her assets total round $108k but she still owes $6.4 million to former cheerleader Shayla Stevens (who won a suit after the rapper allegedly hit her with a bottle at a club), $1,255,128 to Sony Music, $12,000 to Ally Bank, $2,284 to the Georgia Department of Revenue, $2,284 in credit card debt, and an undisclosed amount to the IRS, The Blast reports.
The bankruptcy is still pending but we’re wishing her all the best in settling it all.
