Fabolous won’t have to do time for allegedly threatening and assaulting Emily B. He showed up to court today in New Jersey for an early disposition hearing where his lawyer told the judge that the case is coming to an end because Fab plans to take a “pre-trial intervention” deal, Bossip reports.
Under the plan, Fab will plead guilty to a lesser charge and be sentenced to a diversion program for first-time offenders instead of going to prison.
The program lasts anywhere from six months to a few years and if Fab successfully completes it, the charges will be removed from his record. Fab will go back to court next month to finish the deal.
