LaVar Ball has been in the media non-stop, especially when it came to his son’s journey to the NBA. Now that Lonzo Ball is officially a Laker, it looks like we’ll get to see more of the Ball family.
According to Deadline, Facebook has greenlit a new docu-series about the Ball family. The show still remains untitled and the number and length of episodes are still up for discussion.
As we all know Lonzo Ball was drafted to the Los Angeles Lakers as the No. 2 pick, and Liangelo and LaMelo Ball are two outstanding athletes in their high school.
According to CBS Sports, earlier this year LaVar Ball reportedly hinted about a show during an episode of “Undisputed,” where he said, “If you want to follow us, fine. If you don’t, fine. But I think it’s a hell of a story, the fact that you have to watch and see if my boy’s gonna be as successful as I’m talking about.”
The development of original series through Facebook is a new venture the company is working towards when it comes to creators.
Nick Grudin, VP Media Partnerships said, “Our goal is to make Facebook a place where people can come together around video. To help get there, we’re supporting a small group of partners and creators as they experiment with the kinds of shows you can build a community around — from sports to comedy to reality to gaming.”
Roommates, are you here for a show on the Ball family?
