Former “Today” host Tamron Hall has a lot to celebrate after inking a new development deal with Disney ABC.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hall will start working on developing a syndicated daytime talk show, which she will host. She first teased the news on her Instagram when she said, “We all have ‘one more round’ in us.”
Hall, who left “Today,” back in 2017, said in a statement on Wednesday, “My new partners appreciate and respect the relationship I’ve built with my audience and know that if we create television worth watching, they’ll join us for the ride. I’m so grateful and excited for this next chapter. The landing makes the leap of faith so worth it!”
William Burton, the Senior VP of ABC Daytime also added that Hall’s “wealth of experience and unique perspective is needed in today’s daytime landscape.”
“We look forward to developing a daily destination showcasing her spirit, boundless enthusiasm and powerful ability to engage with viewers,” said Burton.
Hall’s other hosting gigs include a show for Investigation Discovery called Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall, which she’s hosted since 2013.
Congrats to Tamron Hall on her new deal!
