Gilbert Arenas $111 Million NBA Contract Expires–Says He’ll No Longer Be Able To Afford Kids Private School

NBA player Gilbert Arenas is going to have to make some serious pay cuts seeing as his contract with the Washington Wizards is expiring within the next week.

TMZ is reporting that Gilbert will be receiving the last installment of his $111 million contract on Oct 31st.

According to Gilbert, he’ll be so ‘poor’ he’ll no longer be able to afford the private school fees for his kids.

Gilbert must not have made enough investments or saved that coin because he’s reportedly made over $160 million in his NBA career–excluding millions of dollars in endorsements; however, he’ll apparently only be making about $170K a year from those investments.

That’ll definitely be a tight budget seeing as his kids private school costs him about $91K a year.

The real question is, where did all the money go Gil?!
