Ja Rule And Billy McFarland Sued After The Fyre Festival Goes Completely Wrong

By now we all know that rapper Ja Rule and his business partner Billy McFarland have been under fire for the past few days after they attempted to put on a musical festival in the Bahamas, but it went completely wrong.

Now one of the attendees from the festival is taking matters into his own hands and suing Ja Rule and McFarland after being deceived.

According to XXL, Ja Rule and McFarland’s Fyre Media is being hit with a $100 million class-action lawsuit by a plaintiff named Daniel Jung.

In a part of his claim, Jung said, “The festival’s lack of adequate food, water, shelter, and medical care created a dangerous and panicked situation among attendees—suddenly finding themselves stranded on a remote island without basic provisions—that was closer to The Hunger Games or Lord of the Flies than Coachella.”

Social media quickly became filled with photos and video from the festival, showing exactly why people were outraged.

Ja Rule said in a quick statement on Friday after the news broke, “We are working right now on getting everyone off the island SAFE that is my immediate concern. I will make a statement soon I’m heartbroken at this moment my partners and I wanted this to be an amazing event it was NOT A SCAM as everyone is reporting I don’t know how everything went so left but I’m working to make it right by making sure everyone is refunded… I truly apologize as this is NOT MY FAULT… but I’m taking responsibility I’m deeply sorry to everyone who was inconvenienced by this.”
