By now we all know that Khloe Kardashian is currently dating Tristan Thompson of the Cleveland Cavilers. Before her current relationship, she has been known to date a few other high-profile men, including James Harden.
The two reportedly met back in 2015 at Kanye West’s 38th birthday party, when Kim Kardashian rented out the entire Staples Center.
Recently the point guard for the Houston Rockets sat down with Sports Illustrated for an interview, and in that interview, he revealed the reason why he and Khloe split after eight months of dating.
Harden said to the sports publication, “I feel like it was for no reason. I wasn’t getting anything out of it except my name out there and my face out there, and I don’t need that.”
He continued, “It wasn’t uncomfortable, but it wasn’t me. I don’t need pictures of myself when I’m driving my car. Who cares? What shoes am I wearing? Who cares? Where am I eating? Who cares? It was unnecessary stuff that I think trickled down to my teammates. I had to eliminate that.”
A source for the Rocket’s added: “I think he wanted to take his fame out for a spin, and I think he decided he liked it better in the garage.”
Following their split, Harden placed all of his focus on his team, and bettering himself as a player.
I guess he wasn’t too interested in “Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s,” after all.
