On Wednesday news broke that Congressman Steve Scalise was shot in Alexandria, VA while at baseball practice for Thursday’s annual charity congressional baseball game.

The motive for the shooting is unknown, but the scene of the shooting has now been described as “stable.”

There were at least four people shot at the time of the shooting, including, Congressman Scalise, who will reportedly undergo surgery after being shot in the hip.
