Jay Z’s Roc Nation Gets 6th Grader’s “Pledge Of Allegiance” Case Dismissed

Yasss!! #JayZ and his #RocNation team have showed up and showed out yet again!! During #21Savage’s immigration case, he wasn’t just chanting #Free21, mans actually did THAT and acquired him some legal help. We also can’t forget how much of an advocate he was for #MeekMill’s justice too.

Now, Jay and Roc Nation have done the same for 6th grader, Jabari Talbot, who was arrested and faced misdemeanor charges because he refused to participate in the #PledgeOfAllegiance.

Jabari apparently told his substitute teacher that he wouldn’t partake in the pledge because “the flag was racist and the national anthem was offensive to black people.” When the Roc Nation team found out about this, they reportedly acquired the famous lawyer, Alex Spiro to take Jabari’s case pro bono.

In a statement regarding Jabari’s injustice, Spiro said:

“Jabari is a courageous and intelligent young man who deserves all the credit for standing up for his beliefs. He should’ve never been arrested or entangled in this situation—his freedom of speech rights were clearly protected under the 1st Amendment.”
