Judge Awards Matt Barnes Sole Physical & Legal Custody Of Twin Sons

#Roommates, it was a sad day in court for Gloria Govan after a judge awarded Matt Barnes sole physical and legal custody of their twin boys. It’s no secret that Matt and Gloria just don’t like each other but hopefully things get better for them in the future!

According to TMZ, Matt got an 18-month restraining order against Gloria. He claims that she’s a threat to him and now sis has to stay away from Matt up until May 2020.

The order doesn’t pertain to her kids because the judge doesn’t feel like she would do anything to put their life in danger.

Gloria will be allowed regular visitation and will have her boys every other weekend from Friday until Monday morning. She can also have dinner with them every Wednesday. They haven’t worked out the holidays just yet so this should be interesting.

The judge also said that Gloria must complete 26 sessions of anger management and 10 parenting classes.

If you remember, all this started after Gloria put their sons lives in danger when she allegedly used her car as a weapon against Matt, when they both showed up to pick their sons up from school–even though it was Matt’s weekend per their court agreement.

“Barnes said in a signed affidavit that he was attempting to guide one of the boys out of Govan’s Cadillac SUV when she “aggressively jerked the car in reverse,” causing the boy to fall back onto his seat.”

“He claimed Govan continued to reverse the vehicle after the child exited the Escalade, causing a heavy door to slam against the boy’s shoulder.”

“Barnes said after he walked both boys back to his vehicle, Govan barreled toward him ‘at an excessively high rate of speed through the school parking lot’ to block his exit.”

Matt must have one good lawyer!
