On Tuesday, Laila Ali was involved in an accident inside of a Calabasas parking lot.
According to TMZ, Laila accidentally hit an elderly man while driving through the parking lot of a shopping center, reportedly leaving the man injured. Authorities quickly responded and arrived at the scene.
Law enforcement sources revealed that the elderly man was treated at the scene but then taken by an ambulance to a hospital in stable condition.
Laila remained at the scene and spoke with authorities once they arrived. She was not arrested or cited, and the accident is being investigated as an accident.
As we all know Laila is the daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali. She followed in her father’s footsteps and also became a boxer before retiring undefeated in 2007. She later went on to become a television personality and author.
Laila has yet to publicly comment about the accident.
