The LAPD is investigating into a social media account after making dearth threats against political analyst #AngelaRye. She says that the threats came soon after her relationship with #Common became public.
According to reports, Rye filed court documents stating that she’s been receiving “annoying, threatening and harassing messages on her phone, through emails and on social media.” Back in August, someone emailed her with messages such as, “Yr dumb dead a** gonna be found in a river” and “Let me catch ya a** I’m put the paws on ya.”
Rye really got creeped out after the messages began to get too specific as the suspect started naming the establishments she had been to with Common that were not even publicized.
The LAPD has obtained search warrants to sift through the suspect’s social media accounts.
