#Roommates, it’s no secret that #MariahCarey has moved on from her ex fiancé #JamesPacker, and though breakups can be tough I’m sure Mariah is just fine with how things turned out being that she already has a new boo (#BryanTanaka) and now a cool $2.1M after reportedly selling her old engagement ring!
According to @PageSix, MiMi’s old 35-carat diamond engagement ring that she got to keep as part of the settlement agreement she had in place with Packer was sold to a Los Angeles jeweler for $2.1 million.
Now we all know Mimi secures the bag every year with her Vegas residency so she didn’t sell it for the money, according to her Publicist she’s just ready to move on.
Mariah’s publicist spoke with #PageSix and said: Mariah has been very vocal recently about her choice to move forward in her life surrounded by positivity. That requires leaving emotional and material baggage behind, including an old engagement ring from an ex-boyfriend.”
A source said Mariah had one of her business managers handle the major sale and put a non-disclosure agreement in place for the L.A. jeweler but with a ring that size, it’s pretty obvious who it previously belonged to. The ring was reportedly worth around $10M.
