Melania Trump Shares Her Thoughts On The #MeToo Movement, Says Women Need ‘Really Hard Evidence’ If They Come Forward With Allegations

Melania Trump recently shared her opinion about accusers of sexual misconduct and said women “need to have really hard evidence” if they are going to come forward.

“If you accuse (someone) of something, show the evidence,” Mrs. Trump said during an interview with ABC in a clip that aired on “Good Morning America.”

She went on to say that we need to support men too. “I support the women – they need to be heard. We need to support them. And also men, not just women,” Melania shared. “You cannot just say to somebody … ‘I was sexually assaulted’ or ‘You did that to me.’ Because sometimes the media goes too far and the way they portray some stories, it’s not correct.”

“It’s not right,” she added.

Mrs. Trump’s remarks come after multiple women came forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against Brett Kavanaugh, which delayed his Supreme Court confirmation. He denied all of the allegations and was sworn into office earlier this week.

In response to the current climate, Donnie said in a White House interview that “it’s a very scary time for young men in America when you can be guilty of something that you may not be guilty of.”
