On Monday Mystikal pleaded not guilty to charges that stemmed from an assault that took place in October of 2016.
According to KSLA, the rapper faces one count each of first-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping. He’s been in Caddo Correctional Center since surrendering to authorities back in August.
The Caddo district attorney’s office reports that his next court date is set for January 18th and it could possibly include a motion to reduce his $3 million bond.
Aside from Mystikal the grand jury also indicted Averweone Darnell Holman, 26, who also faces the same charges as Mystikal and Tenichia Monieck Wafford, 42, who is facing one count of obstruction of justice.
XXL reports that the charges come from a woman accusing Mystikal and Holman of raping and kidnapping her at Sam’s Town Casino on Oct. 22nd, 2016.
