Netflix’s New Series ’13 Reasons Why’ Renewed For A Second Season

 

“13 Reasons Why,” is one of Netflix’s latest series that has gained immediate attention as it brought to light the action of teen suicide.

Some viewers agreed with the message of the series, while others thought the message was too strong for audiences.

Nonetheless, it has been announced, that the series, which is based on the book, “13 Reasons Why,” written by Jay Asher, will return for a second season.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the drama will return in 2018 for another 13 episodes. In season two the show “picks up in the aftermath of Hannah Baker’s death and the start of the characters’ complicated journeys toward healing and recovery.”

Not too many details about the upcoming season have been revealed, but the show’s runner, Brian Yorkey, did say that Katherine Langford (Hannah Baker) would be back.

He said, “Hannah’s story is still very much not finished. She’s an integral part of whatever the next chapter of the story is, and she’s very much still at the center of it.”
