#NewJobWhoDis: In Appeal Of $1.3 Mill Child Support Judgment, Stevie J Is Now Representing Himself

Last year, Judge Paul Crotty ordered Stevie J to pay $1.3 million in restitution for skipping out on child support payments for two of his children.

According to Bossip, Stevie is ready to go head to head with the judge because he lodged an appeal of his Feb. 2017 sentence, even though he pled guilty to one count of willfully failing to pay child support as part of the plea deal.

Stevie claims the ruling was to excessive and unfair and has since filed documents to be his own lawyer. He made the decision after his attorney decided to dip out because he doesn’t think Stevie had a chance of winning. The judge did give Stevie some time to find a new attorney but he’s decided that he’s going to take matters into his own hands.

Y’all think Stevie has a chance?
