Oop! Gayle King Recalls The Time She Found Her “Friend” In bed With Her Ex-Husband

#Roommates, sometimes it be ya own people! In an interview for @OprahMagazine, #GayleKing opens up about a particular experience that completely shaped how she view friendships.

Granted, her and her bestie #Oprah can laugh at the situation now, but at the time I’m sure it was heartbreaking. In a web series called #TheOGChronicles, Gayle spoke about her ex-husband cheating on her with a “friend” back in 1990! The CBS anchor said she basically walked in on her friend and husband at the time in bed together. But catch this tea, this “friend” had the nerve to tell Gayle “I never liked you” when she got CAUGHT caught!

This actually isn’t the first time Gayle has addressed this moment, in an interview with #VanityFair in 2016 she detailed why her and her former husband split, but it IS the first time we’re finding out he cheated with a so-called friend of hers.

Being the class act that Gayle is, even her ex-husband praised her for how she handled the situation. He reportedly said: “’I have nothing but the utmost respect for Gayle and how she handled herself with grace. Despite the situation, she kept our children, as well as my relationship and involvement with them, as a clear priority.”

Gayle wouldn’t even identify the woman’s name out of respect for her. Let me just say she’s better than me cause whew chile! But I digress. Gayle has clearly moved on with her life and ultimately had the last laugh! There’s no word on who or where this “friend” is but let’s hope she’s remorseful for breaking up a marriage!
