Paula Patton Reveals That She Helped Write Songs With Robin Thicke Under The Name ‘Max Haddington’

Paula Patton stopped by Hot 97’s “Ebro In The Morning” to promote her latest project.

During her interview, she touched on her relationship with her ex-husband Robin Thicke and revealed that she helped write a good amount of songs on his albums throughout the years.

She said, “I was with Robin since I was 15-years-old. You know Robin and I wrote a lot of songs together. I have my name on the albums as Max Haddington.”

She explained that she chose to be credited under another name because at the time she cared about what people thought.

“I was like ‘Max Haddington will seem like another writer with you, so it doesn’t seem like you’re writing with your girl.’ So that’s what we came up with.”

When asked what was her favorite record she participated in, she said “Dreamworld.”

Max (which is short for Paula’s middle name Maxine) is credited for songs on Robin’s albums “Something Else,” “Sex Therapy: The Session,” and “Blurred Lines.”
