R. Kelly is holding his ground as innocent after reports surfaced he held women against their will in an abusive sexual cult.

According to TMZ, R. Kelly has denied all allegations against him and is working diligently to clear his name. A rep said, “Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.”

Buzzfeed reported earlier Kelly captured the alleged women as sex slaves and controlled their every move from what they eat, when they can shower and filmed sexual encounters. TMZ has also confirmed cops in Georgia and Illinois conducted welfare checks to one woman, but she told police she was okay and “did not want to be bothered with her parents because her father was threatening people.”

As we shared in an earlier post:

One of the alleged parents that have spoken out has been identified as J. in order to protect her and her family’s identity.

J. allegedly recalled meeting R. Kelly back in 2015 with hopes of helping to jump-start her 19-year-old daughter’s music career. After meeting the singer backstage at one of his concerts, J. claims he flew her daughter out to another one of his concerts after he reportedly said he would help her daughter with her music.

J. reportedly mentioned that she had her reservations about letting her daughter go with the singer. She said, “In the back of our minds, we were thinking [my daughter] could be around him if I was with her. It didn’t really hit home. Even with the Aaliyah situation, now that I think about it, ‘Age Ain’t Nothing But a Number’ … but you don’t think about that. You grew up with the song, and you like the song.”

Fast forward two years later, and J. claims that she is fighting to bring her daughter home. Her daughter allegedly still lives with Kelly and says she is doing fine, despite J. telling police she is “being held against her will” in what they call a “cult.”

J. reportedly last saw her daughter in December of 2016. She said, “It was as if she was brainwashed. [She] looked like a prisoner — it was horrible. I hugged her and hugged her. But she just kept saying she’s in love and [Kelly] is the one who cares for her. I don’t know what to do. I hope that if I get her back, I can get her treatment for victims of cults.”
