Things are not looking up for XXXTentacion.
Last week the rapper was taken back to jail as he faced 7 felony charges that were all related to witness tampering.
Now prosecutors have hit the rapper with an additional 8 felonies, giving him a total of 15.
According to TMZ, prosecutors believe that the alleged witness tampering took place back in October 2016. The rapper was arrested for domestic violence as he was accused of beating his ex-girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time.
Law enforcement sources said that XXXTentacion made multiple phone calls, which were of course recorded. Evidence from those recorded phone calls reportedly led to the new charges against him.
Prosecutors believe he tried to intimidate his girlfriend into not testifying.
The “F*ck Love,” rapper is now being held without bail and has lost his phone privileges.
