Roommates, we are sending our prayers to the family of reality star Lyric McHenry.
According to the New York Daily News, McHenry was found deceased in a desolate part of the Bronx early Tuesday.
The reality star was reportedly 20 weeks pregnant when authorities found her body. She was found on the sidewalk dressed in a pajama top and no pants, but she was wearing underwear. Her knees were reportedly bruised, but no other injuries were visible. A small ziplock bag of cocaine was also found on her, which led authorities to suspect she suffered from a drug overdose.
She was taken to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. Police are investigating whether she was dumped on to the sidewalk.
McHenry, who recently turned 26, was featured on EJ Johnson’s E! reality show “EJNY,” where she also served as a producer for the reality series.
Her father Doug McHenry has produced some major Hollywood films, such as “New Jack City,” “A Thin Line Between Love and Hate,” and “Jason’s Lyric,” which he also directed.
