#Roommates, 12 years ago Natalee Holloway vanished in Aruba, and since then her parents haven’t given up their quest to find out what exactly happened to their straight A student from Mountain Brooke, Alabama.
According to Fox News, human remains where Natalee disappeared “are those of a female Eastern European descent.
The remains are currently being tested to determine if those remains are Natalee and the results are expected to come in within two weeks, according to the Daily Mail.
The site also claims that her family has Eastern European heritage.
This huge discovery is set to be shown in the docu-series “The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway.” The show follows her dad, Dave and private investigator T.J. in their search to finding out what exactly happened on the island.
“We did an 18-month undercover investigation with an informant who was friends with an individual who had personal knowledge from Joran van der Sloot,” Dave Holloway said on NBC’s “Today” show last week.
“And had information that took us to a spot where remains were found. And we took those remains and had those remains tested. And they just returned last week they are human remains,” Holloway said.
Holloway was last seen leaving a bar in Aruba with Joran van der Sloot. He has always been considered a suspect but never formally charged.
Now what’s interesting about this is that Aruba Public Prosecutor Dorean Kardol is claiming that the remains found on the island weren’t human remains.
“During an investigation by police in an area indicated by Mr. Holloway, we found remains, but they were found to be from animals,” Kardol said.
