Rich The Kid Is Being Sued By Child Support Services On Behalf Of Woman Claiming That He Fathered Her Baby

An Atlanta-area hair stylist is claiming that #RichTheKid got her pregnant following a relationship she labeled as being filled with “dysfunction and toxicity.” Now she’s demanding he steps up for the child he allegedly helped create.

The woman, #CandisWatts, got #TheCaliforniaDepartmentofChildSupportServices involved and the department is now suing Rich The Kid on Watts’ behalf.

Rich is being sued to establish paternity and child support for Watts’ 5-year-old daughter, according to court documents obtained by @Bossip. Watts argues in the court docs that her daughter, D’Jean Watts, was born in 2013 and is the result of their “volatile relationship,” which she said included a month-long stint living together in Marietta, Georgia.

“We met in Atlanta in 2011,” Watts wrote in her court papers. “Inseparable for majority of our relationship. There were many fallouts but always ended up back together. My family and his family can attest to the dysfunction and toxicity of relationship and the negligence on

(Rich The Kid’s) behalf.”

She said that although Rich was not present at the birth, he visited her in the hospital shortly afterward and has admitted to being the girl’s father. Watts claims he also allowed the girl to stay with his family in California for three months while she dealt with “financial hardship,” according to the court docs.

However, Rich is not named on the birth certificate and he has not offered to pay for Watts’ birth expenses or the girl’s medical bills. Watts did say that he did offer to pay for an abortion.

Watts claims she makes $2,000 a month and has another son to care for, so she wants

Rich to acknowledge that he fathered her daughter and to begin paying consistent child support for the girl.

He “is very inconsistent with child support and communication with D’Jean,” Watts wrote in her suit. “Last ‘payment’ I received was Feb. 6, 2018 for $800 and the time before that he had his wife send me $420 in or around March-April 2017 so my car would not be repo’d. Before that, I cannot recall a time when he sent child support.”

She also accused Rich The Kid of moving every two to three months in order to dodge being served. Rich The Kid hasn’t responded to the suit.
