Robin Thicke Backs Out Of A NHL Game That Is Set To Honor His Father Alan Thicke

Singer Robin Thicke suffered the loss of his father Alan Thicke at the end of 2016. The legendary actor suffered from a heart attack last month while at a hockey rink with his 19-year-old son Carter.

On Saturday Robin Thicke was scheduled to coach a team at the Celebrity Shootout Saturday, which is a part of the National Hockey League’s All Star Game honoring Alan Thicke.

Robin Thicke was expected to coach his brother Carter, Justin Bieber, and a host of other celebs.

According to TMZ, Robin Thicke backed out at the last minute on Friday due to his current custody battle with his ex-wife Paula Patton.

Recently it was reported that a judge ordered Robin to stay away from their six-year-old son Julian for the time being. Paula Patton has alleges that Robin Thicke was abusive to her in the past, but he denies those claims.

Each celebrity participating in Saturday’s game will wear jerseys emblazoned with a patch dedicated to Alan Thicke.
