Roommates, do you guys remember when singer #Seal reposted a meme on his Instagram earlier this week which alluded to #Oprah being aware of #HarveyWeinstein’s shenanigans? The internet came for him since they thought he was disrespecting the media mogul and #ChrissyTeigen even salt-bae’d some shade towards the singer. “Hmm. Let’s just say we’ve all heard things about each other, haven’t we?” she said.
Welp, it took a couple of days, but Seal has provided the ultimate clapback at anyone who had anything to say about his IG post. He began by shutting down the notion that he was dissing Oprah in any way. “Let me start by saying I have an enormous amount of respect for everything Oprah has contributed in her life,” he said. “What I re-posted was not an attack on Oprah at all, she just happened to be the person photographed with the pig in the picture.”
Next, Seal reminded everyone that none of the women who have come forward in the #MeToo movement haven’t really received justice. “Losing you’re job because you’ve either a) raped or b) sexually abused or sexually harassed a woman is not real punishment. You steal from the post office, you go to jail. And #realtalk for a second, we all know what would happen if any one of those power abusers looked like me.” Oop!
So, here’s where Seal started READING. FOR. FILTH. He addressed Fox News for taking the Instagram post out of context and dragged #StaceyDash in the process! “Don’t try and use me as a pawn against Oprah, or any of your political games,” he said. “Stacey Dash, keep my name out of your mouth. Do not retweet [or] re-quote anything I said in order to reinforce your self-hating agenda. You live in the Sunken Place.” ????????????
