Selena Gomez canceled her ‘Revival World Tour’ back in August to deal with anxiety, panic attacks, and depression–are all side effects stemming from her battle with Lupus.
“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness, and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off,” she said at the time.
“Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone and by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues.”
US Weekly is reporting that Selena is currently at a “super intense” treatment center in Tennessee.
“Selena is dealing with lupus, but this break is to focus on her mental health,” a source tells them, adding that “She can go to a very dark place.”
Selena hasn’t directly commented on reports that she is in rehab focusing on her mental help, however she has stopped working on new music while in recovery.
The source reveals that she “hasn’t told anyone when she’ll be back in studio,” but she has been spotted spending time with her family in Tennessee, where locals say she seems “happy and relaxed.”
