Selena Gomez’s mom, Mandy Teefey, isn’t here for Justin Bieber at all. She dislikes Justin so much that when she found out that things between Selena and him were getting REAL serious, she had to be taken to a hospital!
According to TMZ, police went to an L.A. area hotel last week to do a welfare check on Selena’s mom, at a family members request. She was voluntarily taken to a hospital to get checked out and was released the same day.
Sources told the site that Mandy went off on Selena after she dropped the bomb that her and JB were in couples therapy. Once Selena told her this news she realized that this wasn’t a phase her daughter is going through and that this is the real deal.
Her family has made it clear numerous times that they just don’t feel like Justin is good news for Selena.
Mandy is giving Selena her space to get her head together.
