Seven Tornadoes Reportedly Touched Down In Louisiana, State Of Emergency Declared

Earlier we reported that at least four tornadoes touched down in Southeast Louisiana, Tuesday. It is now being reported that the number has risen to seven.

According to CNN, Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards has declared a state of emergency. He said at a news conference that two tornadoes touched down in Livingston Parish, and one in six other parishes.

Gov. Edwards admits that aside from the major damage and minor injuries, “the Lord has blessed us with not a single fatality at this time.” There are reportedly at least 20 people injured. We will keep you updated on this story.
