The New Orleans Police Department has reportedly arrested a suspect in the killings of Joshua and Ryan “Rudy” Johnson, the brothers of Toya Wright.
The suspect, 31-year-old Antoine Edwards was arrested and booked March 9th. He was booked with second-degree murder.

According to Nola, the arrest warrant affidavit states that the NOPD received tips that a man who goes by “Toine” or “Tweezy” hold responsibility for the brothers’ deaths and that he, in one instance admitted to the crime.

Although the case is a double homicide, Antoine was only charged with one count of second-degree murder. Furthermore, the NOPD has not yet responded with a reason as to why that is.

His bond was set at $500k and he is due to appear back in court May 7th.
