It’s “Throwback Thursday” and it’s only right that we reminisce on one of the hottest stories to hit the blog world. See, back in 2009 internet blogs were hotter than they’ve ever been and gossip spread like wildfire! All of your favorite sites were just taking off back then so it’s no surprise that when rapper Xzibit did an interview detailing the awkward situation that took place between him, Karrine “Superhead” Steffans, and Diddy IT BLEW UP.
Yes baby, see Xzibit did an interview with Sirius Satellites’ Foxxhole radio in ’09 and spilled the TEA.
It all started at a New Year’s party in Miami where Xzibit, Karrine Steffans, & Diddy were all hanging out:
Xzibit:
“Puffy calls me outside like ‘Yo, you know about the girl you with?’ I was like ‘Yea nigga. Everybody know.’ He’s like ‘That’s the devil man.’ I was like ‘What you mean she’s the devil?’ Then he’s like, ‘She’ll videotape you with fingers in the booty.’ I was like ‘What? What the fuck are you talking about?”
Xzibit said that when he went back inside he approached Karrine Steffans about what Diddy told him and she laughed it off and said she would explain it to him later.
Xzibit:
“I guess he had some prior incident with her that he don’t want nobody to know about.”
X then said that Diddy invited him and Karrine to a nightclub and they accepted the invitation, which would prove to be the wrong move later.
“We get to this club, and we walk in the back way. It’s the VIP lounge, ain’t nobody in there. The club is going, it’s jumping and I’m sitting there with [Superhead],” said X. “So then, [Diddy is] doing his business, we go down and get a drink. We sitting there bobbing to the music, and then [Superhead] point over to the corner. There’s two dudes kissing. I’m like ‘What the f*** is this?’ … Then she point in another direction, and there’s another dude over there, butt ass naked dancing.”
X said he was shook like a busted crook y’all! He said he left with Karrine and didn’t even tell Diddy he was heading out of the club.
“But I been in a gang of clubs, I ain’t never mistakenly stepped into a club with that kind of activity. There it is.”
After the interview aired X said that Diddy contacted him the morning after. That’s when he decided to make this statement:
“I HAVE NO BEEF WITH DIDDY!!!!! Wow, so I wake up this morning and my phone is going nuts. I turn on the computer and find all this shit about me “throwing [Diddy] under the gay bus” whatever that means. All this SPIN that you journalist are putting on the statements I made on a radio show to DIRECTLY effect a guy in a manor not intended is wrong. I got a call yesterday (which caught me off guard) from Diddy himself stating the club was an after hours spot called “Space” I believe.”
