Text Messages Show El Chapo’s Interest In Actress Kate del Castillo

Now that Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán is back in police custody more and more details of what he was up to during his escape is being revealed. We all learned not too long ago that the well-known drug lord had a meeting with Hollywood actor Sean Penn while he was out in hiding. Now details reveal that El Chapo didn’t even know who Sean Penn was during their meeting.

In fact new text messages reveal that the meeting between the two came about thanks to actress Kate del Castillo. During their exchange of text messages El Chapo seemed more interested in getting close with del Castillo, opposed to talking about a possible film on his life.  “I’ll tell you, I am more excited about you than the (movie) script.” He even had her contact saved as “Ermoza”, which is a misspelling of the word beautiful in Spanish.

Now for someone who is married with children, El Chapo’s thirst texts didn’t end there. Other messages he sent to the actress included, “I want you with all my heart.” He also said, “How is the best and most intelligent woman in the world, who I admire a lot?” He even talked about introducing her to his mother and having a wine and tequila filled weekend at his hideout in the jungle.

In recent days de Castillo thanked her supporters via Twitter, “Thank you for your support over the past few days. Not surprisingly many have chosen to make up items they think will make good stories and that aren’t truthful. I look forward to sharing my story with you.”

Even though he showed no real interest in the film, how interesting would it be to see a film about El Chapo’s life?
