Them #PattiPies Have Made Bank, Walmart Sells $1 Million Worth Of Pies!

Patti’s pies are a hot commodity, child; and we’ve got the numbers to prove it!
So remember James Wright Chanel and his hilarious review on #PattiLabelle’s pies that went viral? We already told y’all she called and thanked him for the review that got over 6 million views.
6 million views isn’t the only thing that video got, honey. How about that video is responsible for over $1 million in sales over the weekend. The pies have sold OUT!
Sheesh!!
A Walmart representative, John Forest Ales, told Yahoo that Patti’s pies were flying off the shelves this weekend.
“For 72 hours, we were selling one per second,” he said. “Friday morning, the team was working with the [sweet potato pie] supplier to see how we can keep up with the demand,” Ales added. “The supplier… was having a hard time finding [enough] sweet potatoes. So we walked down the hall to the produce department [and said,] ‘We need about 2 million pounds of California sweet potatoes!’ So that’s what we’ve been working through.”
He claims that Walmart is working hard to replenish the shelves with more of Auntie Patti’s Pies! He even said they are looking to see how to get pies on shelves at locations that originally didn’t sell them.
He says that Walmart was caught all the way off guard for the sudden high demand.
Here’s the million dollar question: Is someone going to cut mister James Wright Chanel a check for his boost in sales? Or will that phone call he got from Patti LaBelle be sufficient?!
Roommates, what do y’all think? Should he be seeing some money?! Let’s chat!
