On Wednesday singer/ rapper Tory Lanez was arrested in Miramar police in Florida’s Broward County for drug and gun charges.
According to XXL, he reportedly was charged with carrying a concealed firearm, possession of marijuana at least 20 grams or less, failure to register a motor vehicle, driving without a drivers license and the inability to show proof of liability insurance.
The marijuana charge is a first-degree misdemeanor, while the possession of the firearm is a third-degree felony.
According to TMZ, he was released after posting $1,000 bond.
Last year Tory Lanez released his debut album, “I Told You,” which featured his hit singles, “Say It,” and “Luv,” which earned him his first Grammy nomination at this year’s annual Grammy Awards.
