#TSRPositiveImages: Philadelphia Barber Gifted A Free Barbershop To Continue His #Haircuts4TheHomeless Initiative

#Philadelphia is the city of #BrotherlyLove and one man is spreading some love by donating free haircuts to the homeless. What he wouldn’t expect was for someone to bless him in an even bigger way than he was blessing his customers!

#BrennonJones started #Haircuts4TheHomeless to give free haircuts, food and toiletries to those in need. With winter quickly approaching, Jones was trying to figure out how he’d be able to continue the operation when all of a sudden a man named Sean Johnson heard about his initiative and wanted to be apart of it.

Johnson, who owns the very successful #TapersBarbershop, had just finished buying and renovating a new location, but decided to give it to Jones for the free! “He said, ‘Listen, I’ve got a building I want you to come check out.’ He said, ‘Do you like this place?’ I said, ‘Yeah, I like it.’ He tossed me the key and said, ‘It’s yours,’” Jones tells WTXF-TV.

“It wasn’t about me giving a barbershop. When you look at the homeless and the things that they need, I looked at it as more. I built something and I want to see it keep going, and I want to see it do a great thing,” Johnson said. The new shop will be up and running this month with certain days dedicated to serving the homeless.

Throughout all of this, Jones said that relying on his faith is what brought him to this point. “I just continue to rely on my faith. God brought me this far; I know he’s not gonna leave me now,” Brennon said.
