While most 16-year-olds are just getting their driver’s license and deciding which college(s) they want to apply for, a 16-year-old Texan has whole law school offers!
#BlackExcellence is clearly being served this year as college student, #HayleyTaylorSchlitz got accepted into nine law schools, and if you’re wondering–she does have her driver’s license as well.
On Hayley’s journey to success, she told @goodmorningmerica that she went to public school up until her fifth grade year when her parents realized that her grades were getting low. She said it was because she began to worry more about her peers, and what they thought of her more than focusing on her academics. Her parents took her out of public school and began homeschooling her. That is when Hayley became more focused and started excelling in her academics.
Hayley started working at a much faster pace, and by the time she turned 13-years-old, she graduated homeschool (high school). She is now a senior in college.
If that’s not shocking enough #Roommates then check this tea, Hayley’s brother is only 13-years-old and he is already a freshman in college. Her sister is 11-years-old, and she is a freshman in high school.
Now it may seemed as though Hayley is too busy to have any free time, but according to @goodmorningamerica, when asked what she does in her free time, she responded that she enjoys reading, drawing, and playing video games with her brother.
Hayley has decided to live at home and attend #SouthernMethodistUniversity’s Dedman School of Law this fall. She’s also been offered a scholarship from SMU as well. Haylet was a Chemistry major her freshman year in college, but decided to change it to law when she started finding a passion for it.
Remember #Roommates, hard work always pays off!
